How do i work out the rate of reaction for this experiment...?

The experiment adding marble chips to hydrochloric acid. in experiment A we are using large chips and in experiment B we are using small chips. we are trying to see how much carbon dioxide is given off. and the question is.. calculate the rate of reaction for the different sizes of marbles, but i have no idea how to do that.. please help :))
