How do you handle the stresses of wedding planning?

Sounds like you are inviting too many conversations about the planning. If you don't want people's input, don't discuss your plans with them. It's pretty rude to want to tell people all your thoughts & plans, then not let them participate in the conversation. What should they say? "It all sounds perfect, you're so smart, thanks for talking about yourself and your plans and treating me like a piece of furniture."
