Try to get her to go to an MD. He sounds depressed. After that counseling might be indicated. If that doesn't work ask her to leave, even if you don't want to. People only change when they first recognize and own the problem and second when they really want to change. This will not get better unless she has a motive for it to get better, such as wanting to be a better wife because otherwise she can't be with you. Use tough love.
