Asking again. Anyone used castor oil more than once in late pregnancy?

I haven't taken it, as this is my first baby. However, my sister-in-law took it and it actually made her really sick. She spent hours in the bathroom with diarrhea which then led to dehydration. From what I've heard about it, it causes more problems than anything. I don't plan on ever using it.
