Can i put 6 neon tetra, 2 glowfish, and a small snail in a 5 gallon fish tank?

or is that to much fish? well anyway I don't need you to tell me the general rule of thumb i got that but more than 5 tetra can go in there it is a rectangle i got in 3 days ago and i have 3 neon tetra. Also when can i add new fish. thank you!!!!
