Celica gt st202 is my starter motor packed up?

it wont start with the key when i turn the key i dont hear no noise at all ,its not the battery, i dont hear no ernnnnnnnn noise and nothing happens just happened randomly (i thinnk) when i push start it it starts the only other thing i would like to say is about an hour before i switched of the car i pulled a handbrake COULD that have triggered it off? but the day before i did about 20 handbrakes nothing happend(that was Fun) my car is looking nicer n nicer just a few things i need to sort out, its got 18'' alloys,powerflow exhaust not yet fitted,corner spats, side skirts (not yet fitted) lowerd and car is black looks y
