Christians, educate me on the tithe. Is it New Testament? Did it p away when the old covenant was nullified

Tithing began before the law. The law only regulated tithing. But we are to give with faith and love. Paul and Jesus both taught about tithing. Read Gal 3:13, Rom 4:12, Heb 7:8
