Dizzy, Dazzed, Confused, Blurry Vission?

For the last few months I have felt slightly dizzy and confused. Recently it has gotten much worse. I feel as if I was hit in the back of the head really hard and stunned but instead of coming back to normal I stay that way. The strength of the symptoms come and go. The symptoms are dizziness, lightheaded, blurred vision, fatigue, dazed and confused felling (absent minded). I have gone to the ER the other day when I felt as if I would p out. I thought it may be my blood pressure causing this but, it turned out that was fine. They also did CAT scan on me and they said that came out fine as well. I went to my doctor the next day he examined me and recommended I go get blood work done. I have an appointment for this Saturday morning. I recently found out my dad went to the doctor for the same exact symptoms the day before. I was curious has any one ever heard of this. I though it may be an inner ear infection but my father has the same exact symptoms also for quite some time now. I am not one to go to see a doctor often unless something is really bothering me in fact the last time I seen my doctor before the other day was back in 2003. So these symptoms seem serious to me. Please help what could be causing this???
