Do I HAVE to concrete my drive to park a small car on it?

We intend to park a small car (750KG) in front of our house on what is already a small front garden with a layer of pebbles. Now, given the weight of the car do we absolutely have to concrete this area or could we get away without doing it if we never park anything heavier on it?
