W/hy does the show House of Pain get so much hate?

I have watched several episodes of Tyler Perry's House of Pain and I don't understand why it gets such hing feedback. I was watching some Youtube commentary about the show and one guy described it as "coonery and baffoonery". NOw, ok, I understand where he is coming from, but I don't think that the show is that bad. I really don't think that it plays on many black stereotypes at all. Sure, some of the family members are lud and obnoxioius, specifically Uncle Curtis, but for the most part, the show has characters and storylines like many other shows. Why is it that just because this show has a primarily black cast and there are characters who act foolish, do people think that it is playing into stereotypes. I have watched shows such as King of Queens and I would not think that all white people act like Doug. Off course comedic shows many times have their characters exagerrating behaviors in order to get laughs.
