I'd leave her alone for now. She told you she had a boyfriend. Maybe she sensed you liked her, and mentioned this on purpose. Who knows ? Unless she makes the first move, or mentions she broke up with her boyfriend, it's really not wise to push the issue of dating. Be content with her friendship. Patience is hard, but it's worth it sometimes...maybe soon she will decide to go out with you.
