Hmmm if you are going to call her Carmen anyways, seeing as you have it in parenthesis, I would just go with Carmen rather than Carmindy since it is a full name in itself rather than a nickname. It'll be easier for her when she's in school because she wont have to constantly correct teachers that she wants to be called "Carmen".
